A distressing video has appeared online of renowned Ghanaian artist Kelvynboy battling with some students and security personnel on the campus of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
Kelvynboy, who was scheduled to perform at UCC, was allegedly manhandled following his Saturday night stage performance, according to multiple sources.
According to the reports, the students attempted to prevent Kelvynboy from leaving their premises to perform at another school.
The 'Down flat' crooner was scheduled to perform at both UCC and the University for Professional Studies (UPSA) in Accra, according to our sources.
He actively worked at UCC in Cape Coast and tried to depart for UPSA in Accra, but students reportedly blocked the road when they heard Kelvynboy was going.
Kelvynboy was seen defending himself from attacks from security personnel and pupils from the school in scenes from the viral video.
The singer was manhandled and treated like a commoner by the pupils, according to the commentary in the background.
Meanwhile, neither UCC nor Kelvynboy's camp has issued an official statement in response to the viral video.
