The media are not supporting our talent so we can't blow like KiDi - Musicians from Kwahu complains

Musicians in the Eastern Region, Kwahu to be precised are complaining that the Multimedia groups there are not helping them in promoting their works.

The multimedia groups at Kwahu do not encourage the artists in pushing out their work, but all they do is to announce funerals and discourage emerging artists, according to an upcoming artist at Kwahu known by the stage name Jay Banks.

They also brag about KiDi, the hitmaker of "Touch it," who is from Kwahu that he has done well in the music industry, as well as making the people of Kwahu proud, but these same media people are not promoting upcoming artists at Kwahu so that they could rise like KiDi.

Below are the statements he made;

"The radio stations don't even play our songs. I remember some time when I was listening to a certain showbiz program done one Kwahu's FM stations, they told an artist on-air that his song audio quality is not clear which is not good to be done so".

They could have done that off-air but no, they just discourage that artist publicly for nothing meanwhile he also paid for the studio fee before he did the song"

"When they're done they will brag with KiDi's name that he is from Kwahu but they don't support the emerging artist to blow like him. One thing is that KiDi don't even mention of Kwahu in his songs.

We have very big talents here like Kay Century, Bergs, Spokies, Ko7, Phabien, Scare Dem, Phlamingo, Sly Pee, Phada Gaza and others but they don't play their songs."
