Ghana's National Identification Card, popularly known as the 'Ghana Card,' will allow holders to travel across 97 borders and 44,000 airports throughout the world.
As a result, holders of the Ghana card will be able to board any flight to Ghana just by displaying the card.
This comes after the Card was approved as a global electronic passport by International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)-accredited borders.
At a ceremony at the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal, Canada, Ghana was formally awarded with a certificate recognizing the Card as an e-passport valid in 44,000 commercial airports globally.
As you can see, the Ghana Card has become quite important, so anyone who has not done their's yet should visit any nearby National Identification Authority (NIA) office to complete all of the necessary steps and receive their Card.
