Sarkodie dresses like a lawyer; he’s always wearing suits – Shatta Wale
Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah has said his colleague Sarkodie dresses too corporately as an artist.
One of the artists in the Ghana music industry who dresses in corporate style is Sarkodie. Sarkodie is always seen wearing suits during interviews, in some of his music videos, and in most of his pictures online.
Shatta Wale during an interview with Paul Adom Otchere described the rapper’s style of dressing as too corporate for his music style. According to Shatta Wale, the sun is too hot for such clothes in Ghana.
According to Shatta Wale, he laughs very hard anytime he sees Sarkodie in either a suit or Kaftan because musicians have no business with such kind of clothing.
According to Shatta Wale, musicians are only meant to be in jewels, sneakers and designer shirts, and jeans like Nigerian artist Davido.
He added that Sarkodie should have been a lawyer instead of a musician because of the way he now dresses because currently, he hardly identifies as a musician because of his gentle style of dressing.
