Rumors that rapper Black Sherif (@blacksherif_) smokes marijuana have been debunked.According to the singer, he only sings about marijuana use in his songs, but he does it in real life.
Although the majority of the 20-year-old rapper's tracks appear to celebrate marijuana, he has denied ever taking the illegal narcotic.
When asked about smoking pot on Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz, he declined to endorse the practice, claiming that it is simply a part of the art of performing his songs.
With the recent buzz surrounding him and him leading Apple Music Charts in Ghana, Nigeria, and The Gambia, among other nations, Black Sherif, also known as Blacko, stated that he wants his music to be heard worldwide.
He urged music fans to view his songs as works of art, comparing the marijuana-laced lyrics to actors playing characters in films that are very different from who they are in real life.
