Renowned musician, Okyeame Kwame has been assigned the Ambassador for Climate Clock of Ghana

Okyeame Kwame appointed Climate Clock ambassador for Ghana
Popular Ghanaian musician, Okyeame Kwame has been selected as Climate Clock to head a tree-planting campaign in Ghana by a Global Climate organisation.

Ghana has become the first country in Africa to launch the Climate Clock initiative in the ongoing Global Change fight. The launch of the programme took place on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the City Triangle in Accra.

A wise man once said that we do not inherit this earth from our forefathers. We rent it from our unborn children. So it is our responsibility to, for nothing at all, if we are not able to make it better than we found it, leave it the way it is”, Okyeame Kwame speaks as he promised to spread the Climate Clock accross the world.

He entreated the public to plant at least one tree in their homes and maintain their surrounding neat.

This is not the first time of Okyeame Kwame  leading such a great cause. In 2018, Solidaridad West Africa selected him as Ambassador for Climate Change under the ‘Ghana Dedicated Grant Mechanism for Local Communities (DGM)’ project.
