A user of Twitter has gone hard on Ghanaian singer, J Derobie for being irrelevant in the music industry after making a stunning entrance into the scene.
J Derobie was the talk of the town in 2019 after he released his first commercial track, ‘Poverty’ that was greatly received by music lovers in Ghana and beyond to the extent of getting applause by industry stakeholders.
He secured a record and management deal with Empawa Music Record Label owned by Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Mr. Eazi because they saw how promising his future is.
It is on the back of this that a man who identifies himself as Jamar Jargo labeled J Derobie as a one-time hitmaker and compared him to Joeboy pointing to the fact that Joeboy was signed to Empawa the same year the label signed J Derobie but his career has taken a nosedive and can’t be compared to Joeboy who has several hit songs and is still relevant in the music scene locally in Nigeria and beyond.
